Each day, the kitchen builds a different proposal based on what arrived fresh that morning — lamb, trout, vegetables from our own garden. There's no fixed menu: there's a conversation with whoever is cooking.

The lodge is located in Río Pico, Chubut, in the heart of Andean Patagonia, surrounded by rivers, lakes and native forest.

The closest access point is Esquel airport, roughly 2 hours by car. We arrange private transfer from there to the lodge.

Guests flying into Buenos Aires have the option of spending a night in the city before continuing on. Whether you choose to stay a while or head straight out, La Loma Lodge can be reached from Buenos Aires through the following options:
1. Commercial flights to Esquel (EQS Airport)
Aerolíneas Argentinas operates direct 2h 30m flights from Buenos Aires' Jorge Newbery Airport (AEP), with 4 weekly departures. Upon landing in Esquel, a La Loma Lodge representative will be waiting to coordinate your private transfer to our property.
Ground transfer time (Airport - Lodge): approximately 2h 50m.
2. Long-Distance Sleeper Bus with Connection
For those who prefer crossing the country overland and taking in the striking Patagonian scenery, the journey can be made on premium-class buses. First leg: departure from the Retiro terminal (Buenos Aires) to San Carlos de Bariloche, taking approximately 24 hours, with departures typically in the afternoon. Connection: an immediate transfer at the Bariloche terminal onward to the Esquel terminal, a direct 5h 30m journey along the legendary Route 40. Upon arrival at the Esquel bus terminal, our representative will meet you to begin the final transfer to the lodge.
